I’m Krishna Tej, a backend engineer based in Hyderabad, India.

I’ve spent the last several years building backend infrastructure at scale systems that handle high throughput, distributed workloads, and the kind of reliability requirements where design decisions compound quietly over time. I’ve worked across document management infrastructure at Oracle and workload management systems at IBM.

Most of my interest sits at the layer below like how the kernel isolates processes, how a database decides where to write, how distributed systems agree on anything at all.

Right now I’m particularly drawn to Linux internals, database internals, and AI infrastructure at the systems level. I write here because writing is how I find out what I actually understand.
